Specialty Towing
Lifted trucks, lowered cars, big-wheel builds and custom rigs aren't ordinary tows. The wrong equipment or a rushed operator can damage suspension, body panels or expensive wheels. Here's how it should be done.
Flatbed, not wheel-lift
Modified vehicles belong on a flatbed. Wheel-lift towing can stress lift kits, lowered suspension and drivetrain components. A flatbed carries the whole vehicle so nothing drags or twists.
Soft straps and correct tie-down points
Quality operators use soft straps over the tires or factory tie-down points — never chains thrown over suspension parts or wrapped around aftermarket components.
Loading angle matters
Lifted trucks with big tires and lowered exotics both have clearance concerns. The right bed angle and approach prevents bumpers, lips and undercarriage parts from scraping during loading.
Experience with the build
We regularly transport lifted Tacomas, show trucks, EVs and lowered exotics. Knowing how a particular build behaves on the deck is what keeps it damage-free.
